Count a realistic busy moment
Picture the time when people in your home are most likely to watch separately. A TV playing in the lounge and a tablet playing in another room use two connections. If you stop the TV before starting the tablet, that example uses one active connection. Count playback, not installed apps.
Include the screens you may forget
A player left running in another room can matter even if nobody is watching it. Close unused playback before testing another device. Ask support to confirm any account conditions that affect how connections can be used; the number of streams is not a promise of unrestricted sharing.
Compare like for like
